A new wellbeing space for students was officially unveiled to the UCSF community this month in advance of its official opening. Student Mental Health and Wellbeing’s (SMHW) Health Promotion, Outreach, and Education (HPOE) team held an open house for its new Wellbeing Haven, a dedicated space created to support restoration, connection, and wellbeing for UC San Francisco students.
The celebration was attended by 175 people and featured a tour of the new environment, arts and crafts, Wellbeing Jeopardy, and yoga sessions.
“This space was designed with students as the central focus, with the intention to create a fostering and supportive environment that allows for connection, creativity and reflection,” said the HPOE team. “We hope students will find the location a welcoming haven that fosters their wellbeing.”

SMHW’s Health Promotion, Outreach, and Education (HPOE) team looks forward to welcoming students when the space officially opens this summer. Students can find programming and additional information on the SMHW website.
